The N.R.A.
One question has yet to be answered. Who are the NRA? It is a difficult question. We might be able to learn from Dr. Michael Burry's example. He read the mortgages. Is it possible to read the roster of this civil rights organization? From the small amount of research I have done, they are a pro gun organization with three million members. I have been trying to figure out who these people are. If their lobby is so strong in Washington, there must be some heavy hitters in their league. This question is simple. Who in America believes that citizens should be able to possess assault weapons? I am guessing the term assault weapon is a generalization in the view of the NRA. They must be fundamentalists who are staunch supporters of our American Constitution. Americans have the right to bear arms, because our history (as are the histories of most nations) is littered with war. When war presents itself as a metaphor for our freedom, we must fight. This is a postulate of survival. Therefore a no gun America is not and never will be an option. Our own militias defeated the British to earn our freedom from imperialist rule. It is naive to think that America or any nation could exist without protections. Australia is a nice pipe dream, but who has been there? Australia is not America. It was a British penal colony truly that is hidden down under. Other than recently discovered minerals, they produce no products. Therefore their global influence is minimal. I respect them for banning guns, and I laud their result, much less violence. Australia is not America. We are guaranteed the right to possess guns for our own protections. The issue is how to we keep these guns, often killing machines on steroids, away from our youth. Further how do we keep these killing machines on steroids away from our youth who suffer from acute mental illness. I do believe that the probability of violence is less if their were fewer guns. Never will this happen in the United States, so we must accept it. The question once again is who are the NRA? Who feels Americans should be able to possess assault weapons, weapons formerly made available to our armed forces to protect America in case of war? Does the NRA believe that it is likely America will be invaded from the North or the South? While we have fought Mexico, most Americans probably would agree that we will not see an invasion of America from either country, Mexico or Canada. The GNP of Canada is weed. Sixty percent of their economy comes from the growing of Cannabis. Do we really feel threatened by South America? Ronnie did. Those damn Commie bastards running drugs in Central America. Please. The likelihood of a domestic invasion in America demanding we defend ourselves with assault weapons is marginal. Strike one. The remaining answer is that assault style weapons will be used to defend ourselves against our own government. That is ironic. If this is the philosophy of the NRA, then it is ironic that they lobby the very body of people against whom they will be fighting eventually. Trump's head is spinning. This is what leads me to believe that the NRA is a shell organization. It is a facade. The real answer is no one cars about who will use assault weapons. They only care that the AR-15 is the biggest selling gun in American history. That means that the goons who support assault weapons never have thought about its implications to mentally challenged teens. They could care less. All they know is the selling of these weapons is making them money. Thus the definition of current American Capitalism has been cemented. We are not smart enough of a nation to think through any philosophical issue, because it only matters that we earn enough money to support our greed. Greed is all that America has become. The NRA is the gun industry, and they sell guns however they can. It is that simple, and they are not that smart. It is like Fayetteville, rednecks with money. There is no point in trying to argue with stupid.

The Nation of Child Genocide
I don't feel like writing at all. My last two nights of sleep have been torturous. Now I don't mind the sounds of the bombs bursting in air. Finally the local news reported a story confirming the Marines are in Fayettenam. No surprise there. They come twice a year, and you know it. Is their activity related to my torturous sleep? "Yes and No," as Wayne Shorter might say. When Army men are returning from deployment they fly in covertly at night. Their flight path is directly over our house. Yea! When I can't sleep, and I keep feeling constant vibration through the roof. Well, you can "Imagine," as John Lennon might. Living underneath an airport flight path. "Get 'er done. Get it done." The bombs now are a comfort, like they were this morning when multiple diesel/electric locomotives were operating in close proximity. It begins at 5:00 a.m., and it continues most of the day. When am I supposed to sleep? Ask the CEO of CSX-T or Norfolk Southern. No one regulates their industry. They operate with impunity protected by the Interstate Commerce Commission. I'll bet not a millennial has heard of this body. If and when I criticize either of these organizations, they punish me more. "Think this is bad, sonny? Take some of this." As my broken record repeats, whence is this disturbia coming? Disturbia is a film staring Shia Lebuff. That is an interesting name. Evidently he allowed himself to be raped as part of his art exposition. We have multiple choices here in 'Nam. Honeycutt Marshalling Yard, Fort Bragg, NC. River Terminal, Fayetteville, NC. DAK, Americas, Cedar Creek Rd., NC. Milan Yard, Fayetteville, NC. Downtown where the Aberdeen and Rockfish, the N&S, and CSX-T SHARE a small switching yard. Take your pick. Trains galore, and it begins at 5:00 a.m. Most people think I am crazy, but musicians are more sensitive to sound and thus low frequency vibration. Sound is vibration. How about sound and vibration you can't actually hear? Oh yea! Conspiracy. No, the root cause of many illnesses still yet undetermined. Undetermined. Enough of that. I feel like shit thanks to this. My sleep pattern and thus happiness are relegated by rail companies. Here comes another wonderful flying apparatus now. At least I can hear and maybe see them. I am reflecting on the history of America. That is stark and painful at most. Slavery. Racism. Enough of that. I am reflecting on the philosophy of America. For what do we stand? Does anyone know? Can anyone say? We are imperious. We have gone to war for South Korea and South Viet Nam. We have gone to war for and against Iraq and for Afghanistan. We fought the Spaniards. We fought Mexico. We fought the British. We fought ourselves. When did America lose track of her charter and the Constitution? When did we lose track of our Declaration of Independence? Now Americans should be declaring their independence from Washington, DC. I can't think of one mission statement from Washington that remotely is related to the charter of the United States. Build a border wall to keep out Mexican immigrants? Please. Washington, DC imports the majority of drugs into the U.S. Washington created ISIS and all of its preceding factions. We are at war with ourselves, because the defense industry is raping Americans. They have to create altercation to justify their industry, an industry of war. I have a simple question. Does anyone in America truly believe that our armed forces, if asked, would support the American people over Washington, DC? In Washington is their chain of command. Their jobs are dependent upon W., not Bush W., but Washington W. I am surrounded by the military on all sides. While I do not scorn them, I cannot trust a body of individuals how are indoctrinated to take orders from a chain of command originating in W., especially with Dump as the Commander in Chief. What evidence do we have as a nation that our armed forces will or are capable of protecting the American people domestically? By domestically I mean on our native soil. In America. Here. Would we need hundreds of thousands of troops and munitions. Simply put, neither the police force or the United States military have been able to protect innocent black men or our school children from genocide. That is not comforting. When is the last time you can remember when the military was engaged in a domestic dispute? Kent State? What happened? The National Guard was deployed and they killed innocent protesting college students. What happened in Waco, Texas? The most recent memory we have of any issue on a domestic level was 9/11. Hundreds of local police and fire fighters swarmed the twin towers and were killed in its collapse. That was and is a tragedy. Was it smart? You can live or die, and some choose to die in blind allegiance to our flag. What history of success does America have in protecting her people? Islamic suicide bombers infiltrated American air space and flew planes into the World Trade Center towers. This would not have happened if the original W. had not been President. Our most recent history has been the most incompetent politicians have been elected President. What does this say about America? We have lost faith in the system? No one cares enough to vote? Party specific gerrymandering has run rampant. Our court system has become partisan and corrupt? Dump won the American Presidency losing the popular vote by three million votes. How is this possible? What is the electoral college, and who are its representatives? Is it fair? The answer is unequivocally, "No" if Dump won the Presidency. Luckily the stench of this corruption is noisome, and local state attorneys have caught wind. Lawsuits have been filed, and the Democratic National Party is rallying its troops. We need this. I don't trust this nation. I can't have blind allegiance to a nation which in my lifetime has not proven its honesty and value. Our political system now elects representatives who represent only themselves. Somehow the governing body of America has become its own entity no longer representing those that attempt to vote for them. The system has become so corrupt that citizens have turned their cheeks. Downward has America spiraled. It is difficult to find anything good about America. We cannot protect our own school children from genocide.

Growth for the Sake of Progress
There are a lot of questionable professions in America. Certainly the most questionable is that of a Wall Street Broker, a yuppie sitting in an ivory tower buying and selling companies. Never have I really experienced this phenomenon until now. You must be older to have seen some things like your hometown being whored out like a two bit hooker. Oops. What did I mean? I mean at a certain point in life, a particular generation has something to say. This is not new. It was quite a while back when unethical Wall Street brokers began breaking America's balls. Suddenly pensioned long time employees not far from retirement were cast out with nary a thought. Devoted, diligent, loyal employees who had been working at companies for twenty-five years looking forward to a reasonable retirement income were flicked aside with the fickle middle finger of an up-and-coming Wall Street broker. How is it possible that a small faction of wieners somehow became entrusted with the lives of American workers? Who gave these men the right to terminate valuable employment and their pensions so they could make a buck? It is unconscionable that what is purportedly the "Greatest County in the World" has empowered such an undeserving few, Wall Street wieners. Dicks. Pricks. Cocks. Assholes. What kind of Congress could adjust legislation to allow such a peanut gallery, a theater of the absurd, or a pack of entitled trust fund babies to control the economy of America? Hank Paulson? John Snow? What kind of country disrespects here citizens, turns on them, and tries to annihilate them with covert biological weapons, biological weapons that are so obvious that no one seems to notice. The "Bird Flu." "Flynt, Michigan." Chemours. Cancer. There is no need for WMD. They all ready exist in mother nature. All evil has to do is discover and use them. We have been poisoning Americans for decades, probably centuries. Cleaning solvents released into the earth. By products of nuclear energy production. Tailings from chemical plants. Why don't we collect the feces and urine of farm animals and spray it on our crops releasing it into the air for precipitation to carry hundreds of miles. Welcome to "Hog Alley." Welcome to North Carolina, one of the fastest growing states in our union. My question is, "Why do we need to grow?" Adults stop growing. Eventually they have a say. Eventually they get to stop being parents, and if America were operating correctly then they could live the rest of their lives in security, peace, and happiness. That is not the case. North Carolinians in particular are subject to unwanted growth. The last thing I need is new growth, a growth on my back, a growth on my lung, a growth in my liver, or new foreigners in our town. I am not anti-immigration. The majority of immigrants during America's formative years were not Mexican. Probably they were not Asian, while there were some "Coolies" working for plantation owners. At that time these cultures were viewed as inferior and thus subservient. Ouch. "Put them wet backs and Coolies to work!" The history of America is not pretty, and we continue to disguise what really is happening today. It is the same. Why do we need growth, if America still was operating efficiently? She isn't. That is why we need "growth." Growth. Growth is real estate developers coming into long standing North Carolina towns and buying up every available parcel of land. With very little respect for their historical infrastructure, such as Fayetteville, buy up every parcel of land and develop it. Put whatever new thing you see fit there and call it growth. Katrina may be the best example. If its Ninth Ward was destroyed, a low income region populated with ethnicity, why not replace it with LUXURY housing? Let's venture to downtown Fayetteville, a drug-infested, low income, ghetto and build LUXURY condominiums. Yea! Great idea. So has it been for ages. Let's draw an economic line of demarcation so stark and insulting that no community could survive it. Let's build the "Gold Coast," an upper class neighborhood directly adjacent to Savoy Heights. Built a wooden fence to separate the two. Let's build LUXURY housing in New Orleans in a place that once was the home for everyone. Our coast, other than having become a military zone for practice maneuvers, has succumbed to the same ill. Take our formerly down home, rural, and grass roots coast line, a coast line defined culturally by Pat Conroy, and destroy it and build LUXURY townhomes for the rich to visit a few weeks a year. There is something wrong with that, and Eminent Domain created it. That little nugget of W. created legislation not only allows the government to take your property for public use, but allows it to take you property for private enterprise. This legislation is so Socialist, so Communist, it makes Obama look like Mother Teresa. Socialist? Barak Obama was not a Socialist, and those shouting such are thing are the stark raving mad culprits. Looking for the enemy in America, looks at those shouting from atop a soap box. Communism has found its way into America, and it began with W. We do not need to look for terrorism in Iraq. Iraq only was a diversion to keep the American people distracted from Wall Street. My question is, why not build affordable housing? Why does it always have to be LUXURY? I hate luxury, sterile furnishings, stiff fabrics, fake prints, and establishment. If anyone were to take a moment and look at humanity, the human cause, and happiness they will see that the life that has been created in America is the antithesis of instinctual, loving, and thoughtful living. It is shallow, short-sighted, and unfulfilling. That is because the few simple things that we need to by happy are not high dollar, like sterile furnishings, stiff fabrics, take prints, and establishment. The faction has worked long and hard to make us believe these things have value, like an iPhone. The value of commodities. That has been the ruse of Wall Street for the last two decades. Make America think their commodities are valuable and thus devalue things that have real value like music. Is it implausible that these grass roots things, textiles, furniture, crafts, music, and agriculture may once again be understood for their innate value to human beings. Believe me in the near future they will. When hellfire rains down on earth and when solar flares destroy our network of satellites, priorities will be reordered. The physician who bet against the American economy in 2008 all ready knows this, and he has made his choice. Potable water. Take a good hard look at who is polluting our water, and why it may become more valuable in time. Our campaign slogan. "Let's destroy it and sell it to them." I think real estate developers must be the lowest scum on earth. Again my question is, why do we need growth. If our system was working the way it always has been, then we would be in good shape. Then came "Globalization." Wall Street and Bill Clinton sold out the American people for the American people. He got himself elected, and empowered Wall Street to raze America. We will not recover.

The "Faction"
I think best when I am sleeping. For me sleeping is a rarity. Sleep is what allows your body's immune system to operate. Sleep also is when short term memories are turned into long term memories. Sleep deprivation is a common tactic of torture. Not much more is necessary. Deprive any sane human being of sleep, and they will be reduced to vapor in a few days. I cherish sleep when it comes, even if it makes me tired during the day. I think best when I am sleeping. My first thought is what an arrogant ass Quincy Jones is. Yes, he is rich because he produced "Off the Wall" and "Thriller." This and only this is what catapulted Quincy Jones to celebrity. A competent arranger and composer who represents the African-American film aesthetic does not a celebrity make. His work in film is worthy of praise, and in his own words scoring the music for "The Color Purple" created a nervous breakdown for him. Film music in general does not create celebrity. Film music in particular is a sleeper. While John Williams continues to promulgate this ripe venue for musical expression, most film composers dwell in public obscurity. Q. does not. Q. now is a celebrity, and he dated Ivanka. [sic] What bothers me in his most recent interview is how dementia manifests itself. He and Donald Trump officially are geriatrics. Dementia in my experience only is an extension of the normal and reasonable irrational outbursts of frustrated people. Women in my experience seem to suffer from this more than men. Even if I have been tortured with lack of sleep, am suffering from withdrawal from alcohol, or just woke up on the wrong side of the bed, never do I lie. Never do I make up stories to justify my current state of being. If I feel like crap, then I have no reason to project it on anyone else. It won't help. I know this, because I am an educated person. Immature people do this. Women in my experience also do this. It is a woman thing. "You eat too much." "You left the freezer door open." In reality it is you who eats too much or left the freezer door open, and in the geriatric mind saying it out loud no matter if it is the wrong person, solidifies the concept. You get used to it. Oldspeak. You did this. You did that. Just think of it as vice versa. Quincy said some brazen things that are laced with dementia and braggadocio. He is not unlike Miles Davis or Wynton Marsalis. Miles may not have been a racist, but listening to his words may make you feel that way. He was the same as Q. He (they) say what they think, but everything they say is not necessarily true. That is a stretch for me, listening to lies. If anything I have learned in my life it is to be truthful. Humanity seeks the truth, because truth provides righteousness. Truth cuts through the B.S., the ever piling B.S. of our society, and provides a path to justice. That justice depends on our system of justice in the United States, and in recent years those processes and representatives have fallen prey to the full hand of lobbyists. That includes SCOTUS, a pop culture acronym for the Supreme Court of the United States. They no longer are that supreme. Instead they are bought and paid for like the rest of Washington. I can't be surprised if in my lifetime every single principle I have learned from a quality public education would be challenged by a lop-sided, nepotistic, sociopathic Washington. Truth no longer reigns in our society as a virtue. Instead the accumulation of wealth is held in high esteem. I would like to suggest among many other things on my mind, that the longer that money sits laundered and sheltered in Grand Cayman and Swiss banks, the more is depreciates in value. Capitalism is based upon the exchange of money. Money freely must circulate in a series of trades to be valuable. For it to maintain worth, it must be traded. I don't mean on Wall Street. Suits in New York towers at the top of the food chain with no penchant for middle America have no chance of success. The numbers game, in Capitalism, in based upon actual currency. Currency must be traded, and it must be traded for worthy goods. The operative word here is worthy. Is an iPhone worthy? Is it worth something other than to pop culture adolescents who have been brain washed by American television advertising? The answer is of course not. An iPhone is not worth anything, and yet Tim Cooke has made Apple one of the worlds richest companies. It defies logic and Steve Jobs' vision. Has Apple contributed to American Capitalism other than exploiting it for its own gain? Again the answer is of course not, just like Bill Gates has not contributed to American Capitalism other than taking from it. The rest of the country, the majority of Americans are poor and just getting by. The Middle Class quickly has disappeared, because Washington is controlled by the lobbyists of big money. Big money is the new God. America will fall when Jesus makes his second appearance on earth, or it will fall sooner. Jesus may all ready be here with Satan, and that I believe. At first I thought Satan was in W., but then it just keeps going, getting more corrupt and absurd. For money to have value it must circulate. The longer Apple's money sits sheltered in overseas accounts, the more it loses value, because there is no Capitalism occurring to reinforce its worth. Wall Street is not enough, and we have seen it fail time and time again. Still Washington does not learn, and our recent Congress wants to ease banking regulations enacted to watchdog the wrong-doings of Wall Street which are rampant. Until this regime is extruded from the White House, America has no chance. The smell of the rotting money of Apple's is no surprise. There are so many possibilities of righting wrong. "Fight Club" had its solution, and perhaps it was not a bad one. "V" had its solution, and perhaps it was not a bad one. God has a solution, and it is predicted in the Book of Revelations. Fire will come from the sky (a comet), and fire will bellow from the oceans (volcanoes). God will appear and those who have accepted Him will be resurrected, the living and the dead. The rest, those currently controlling America, will be left on the smoldering earth with their worthless money to fight for their lives in the scenario only they have created. If they had accepted God as the savior of humanity, then they would have had a chance at immortal life. Instead this faction has chosen the short life on earth as their torch. That is human culpability, the things about which Jesus taught during His time on earth. America systematically has attempted to eradicate God from our consciousness against the wishes of our Founding Fathers. They knew that God was key to a successful nation. I would assume all of our Founding Fathers are turning over in their graves, and it won't be long before another civil or revolutionary war transpires. For money to be of value there must be commodities of value. Those commodities all ready have been defined in American society. No matter how Tim Cook tries, Apple cannot redefine the needs of Americans. They can try. They can produce misleading advertising, such American car commercials. They can produce brainwashing propaganda and sell it to theaters to play before feature films. These films by the way no longer are actual films. They are digital renderings, and the conversion to digital has enabled Big Brother to interject its own message in a venue once reserved for artistry and anti establishment political activism. Corporate monopolies always have been unhealthy, and yet systematically America has lessened regulation allowing these awkward, top-heavy, pork-laden grease pots to fester. It won't be long before Big Brother is ruling America, and it will be by Mother. If the money in overseas banks does not begin to flow again back into America and to the middle and lowers classes, we will die. The faction that who has chosen this short life as their torches will meet Satan and continue their hedonistic lifestyle in Hell. It is unfortunate but not surprising that in my lifetime I am forced to reckon with this ill. Perhaps it occurs in everyone's lifetime, but one does not see it until they get older and are not engaged in the requirements of early life. When you get older you have nothing to lose. Retirement. Over fifty percent of Americans have none. What do we have to lose? The commodities which built America are the same, and they are not the iPhone. They are food, clothing, and shelter. They are goods related to the human experience. They are amenities which make life livable. Q. spoke like an arrogant ass, much the way Miles sounded when he talked. Then I learned to take what they say as braggadocio. Miles said in an interview he never suffered, and yet he kicked heroin cold turkey in a room over his father's garage. Q. said he dated Ivanka. Q. said the Beatles were terrible musicians, but if you compared the Beatles catalog to The King of Pop's, why did Michael by the Beatles catalog? Studying with Nadia Boulanger does not in itself make you a musical scholar. Yes George Gershwin and Herbie Hancock also studied with Ms. Boulanger, but no longer does that ensure you will become a celebrity composer such as George Gershwin. Evidently Q. feels he has arrived. "Everything I have done has been stellar," he said. That is some ego. The jokes on you when you go back and listen and realize it was not. He made you listen and pay attention, but that will not sustain the test of time. American advertising and the faction controlling America could take a lesson in longevity. The earth is meant to provide for the populace, not just your greedy asses.

The Dump Show
The B.S. is so absurd, we can't watch anymore. Know when you watch the evening news on television or read the news on the web, approach with caution. Skepticism is besticism. The Socratic Method should apply. Approach with disdain or even contempt, because like telemarketing calls interrupting at dinner time, likely it is spam. There is accurate news to be read on them internets, but now one must ripple through menus to find it. The top hits are chosen by the Big I's. (The big internets) They have learned to manipulate data to sell advertising. Big whoop. How can a free program be worth billions? Oh yes, by being bought and paid for by the mob. Nothing new about that. Now is Russian. The mob left New York City at Rudy's behest and went East. Being bought and paid for by the mob is nothing new. It is common. Not unusual for an American company to sell out to the mob for $$$. Rex got fired for it. "The Russians were responsible for the nerve agent attempted assassination attack in the U.K. Mr. Secretary said it, and Mr. Putin said, "Rex has to go." Plane and simple. Simple and thimple. Planes going down. Mr. Tillerson's went down in the most disrespectful way, just like Dan Rather. It's abhorrent. A notable public figure and scholar, a lifetime of reputable achievement, and in the great American way the establishment hobbles them. They go out with broken ankles until enough times passes that they may forget. It hasn't happened with Dan. Brian was there in the helicopter. The establishment is fickle. Mr. Tillerson bowed out with respect, something not shown to him by our resident. He's not a President. He is a resident of the shite house. (By the way Steely Dan sucks) Not really, but that is a funny post. Chic went out of the Disco craze overnight. It's funny how the establishment can choose the winners in the losers, except for Roy Moore and apparently Mr. Saccone. The Democratic Party is becoming energized, and it is wonderful. They wanted $100.00 from my mother. Everything that comes out of Dump's mouth is prescripted spin. Who can listen? We are approaching the boiling point, the point where American society, our country, will regress to its former conspiracy. Oh, conspiracy to own slaves who work for free. The rich own everything and run the show. All ready we are there and have been for a long time. Each time I hear of yet another rate hike by Duke Energy, PWC, insurance, or taxes, Americans are forced further into poverty. How can anyone justify any kind of rate hike? Wages for Americans have been stagnant largely because of the absence of union activism. With stagnant wages, each rate hike forces us further into poverty. When the poverty becomes so severe and working people are desperate, action should be taken. Not that long ago Sinn Fein and the IRA were in the Reuters News Summary. Now that Rupert and Warren control the news, any news suggestive of positive change and its origins is stifled. That is Big Brother. Michael Collins would walk the streets with the big men, the Big I's, and when someone stepped out of line, insulted the people, or was patronizing and indignant.... Justice. Trump walks around like no other President having forgotten history. Because he is the mob, he is not worried about a contract. They protect him. It would be so easy, and yet each and every day we are insulted by this orange-headed Alabama Governor selling Pappy O'Daniel's flour. It will go down in history if America survives. Trump is just a show. That is all Trump ever wanted, to be on television. Let him run amuck with his pubescent hi jinx while the real damage is being done via Wall Street. I didn't intend to slander the D. I decided to empty my mind of all of the absurdity that is transpiring. Every day a new insult, like no on in America pays attention, distracted by their own meager lives. No future, no money, no happiness.

Vast Barren Wasteland
Quietly the news subsides. Record breaking high temperatures in Fayetteville receive nothing from local news broadcasts, because their news like everyone's is bought and paid for like the Associated Press. Bill Bowman did an authoritative article on the Fayetteville Observer. I need to read it again. His publication is the Up and Coming. Folks in "The Ville" (Da Ville) thought it would never fly, but it sprouted wings and has become better rag journalism than the Observer. I think the Observer is capable, but their veteran writers are fleeing. (or else they are being let go) They publish my Letters to the Editor, and I am grateful. I don't like the assembly line news they publish chosen by a mother company that owns seven hundred other newspapers. Certainly Big Brother or their shell company owners tell them what to print. How can record breaking high temperatures not make the news? 2017 was the hottest year on record, and 2018 will surpass its record. Global Warming is nothing other than man run awry with capitalist industry. There is no greater example than Da Ville. Da Bragg, and it is nothing to Bragg about. Record breaking heat. Eighty degrees Fahrenheit in February, and not one news broadcast has anything to say about it other than casual chuckles and jokes about an early Spring. I must digress. Our plants are so confused, the entire yard is blooming in February. When the cold snap hits again, and usually snow during the first weekend in April, the foliage will get damaged by the freeze. Their what should be pretty green leaves will be marked with brown for the rest of the Spring and Summer. Last year was not a good year for hydrangeas. The year before was. Last year they were damaged by the late freeze after record breaking high temperatures caused by carbon emissions. Trump covertly has unzipped the fly of the EPA and exposed its taint. Taint doing nothing. Jeff Sessions, our Attorney General, has made it a life long career of suing the EPA. Why is he our Attorney General? Al Gore's attorney, the one that represented him in the Florida court case against W., (and they lost) has filed suit for infractions in our Electoral Colleges. They are controlled by individual states, and they are being manipulated just like voting districts. Legal representatives of Chemours are using the courts and politics to try and slide their carcinogenic emissions under the rug. The EPA has not designated Gen X as a known carcinogen. Republicans are so adept at manipulating the courts with our laws. Congressmen write the flawed legislation with back doors cemented in. The Republicans slide in those back doors on the down low before anyone knows what is happening. Duke Energy is trying to slide out of their responsibility to clean up their own coal ash. Why have they not been doing this all along? It is because Bill and W. have eased regulations on industry. The Donald, with his pasty, emotional, defeated self lies straight to the American people. A pathological liar, our president. Not President. They are such amateurs. At least Ronnie was a professional actor. The fine for Duke energy also was a record breaking high. One hundred million, and quietly Governor McCrory decreased it to less than two million. I shouldn't criticize our FEMA Director. They committed to reimbursing Fayetteville for hurricane damage. Our dam, Mirror Lake, is owned by the city of Fayetteville. They are responsible for rebuilding it. FEMA consented to pay for it, but that meant a two year waiting period for the money. The Donald diverted our hurricane relief money, because Houston and Puerto Rico took precedence. Okay. Our dam still has not been rebuilt one year and four months later, but a thirty million dollar baseball stadium is being built in our downtown. They really need to sell those over-priced condos. Our dam sits in decay as the street threatens to collapse. One more strong Spring storm and it will disintegrate. The spillway is still in tact. I remember when they rebuilt it. It is a strong concrete affair. It still works, but the dirt washed out from under the street behind it. The City Manager says it has to be torn down and completely rebuilt to FEMA standards. What's the hold up? On the agenda for the City Council and Mitch Colvin is not our dam. The streets of Greenwood homes are smooth and wide, freshly paved and beautiful. Vanstory Hills? Westchester Drive is laden with pot holes so deep your car suspension jolts your kidneys out of your back. I have a chest infection but no antibiotics. You can score heroin, crack, or tea on the street, but I can't find a doctor who seems to understand medicine. The downside is the United States is the world's leading economy but the world's biggest shit hole. A vast barren wasteland of toxic emissions, but the money rolls in.
Flank

Ain't LIfe Grand in Fayettenam?
I sit in my room, I sit on a shelf, like an elf. Delphi. Smelt. Smells like fish. Smells like rendering animal fat. Smells like cat chow. Funk, and not the good kind. Smells. I sit in my room, and it hovers all around me. Funk. Electrical funk. Acoustical funk. Not the good kind. For the period of one month, funk, for the period of one month, we, the underprivileged are inundated with funk. Electrical funk. I have not been able to work in my home recording studio because of the funk. I call it the Fayetteville death ray. It is on right now. The first time I experienced the Fayetteville death ray I lived in Cow Town. (Columbus, OH) Ohio I say. I lived five hundred miles up the road in the Midwest, but I could feel the Fayetteville death ray as clear as a bell. (That doesn't make sense, but neither does the world in which we live today) I could feel the Fayetteville death ray. I was evicted from my apartment for threatening my neighbors. First when I moved in the maintenance crew did not torque down the sink trap. I bumped it with my popcorn bowl, and it moved just enough to allow the water from my sink drain to pour underneath the unit. Straight through the cabinet floor underneath the unit. In a week or so that rogue water accomplished something. I don't know exactly where it went, but suddenly the subflooring of this apartment came loose. Now when I walked inside there was play in my floor. It was like a trampoline. The inside floor of my apartment was a trampoline, and now when my neighbors walked around my floor moved. I'll repeat that. When my neighbors walked around next door, my floor moved up and down. It made me sick, and I wrote them a letter asking them if they could take it easy. They were not sympathetic. They did not understand that water had been flowing from my sink to the underneath part of my apartment for over a week. Where was that water going? I complained to the management, and they came and went into the crawlspace. Clearly I heard them say, "He has a leak." Then promptly they boarded up that same crawlspace, so no one else could take a look. The denied any damage to the subfloor. It was a gymnastic event, living on a giant trampoline with three people next door competing. I've never felt so sick. I complained to no avail. They denied any damage, so I put the rent in an escrow account downtown. This did not go over well. Before the apartment manager could get her rent, they had to attempt to make a repair to the floor. They did not. Instead she evicted me and turned me over to the FABCO collection agency. She also gave my personal information to a telemarketing company, so the junk mail just began flowing. It took a while, but I used Legal Aid. They negotiated a bargain with FABCO, and got her request $1,400.00 down to $400.00. Promptly I paid the debt. It now was reasonable. She had trumped up the fees including replacing linoleum in the kitchen where my piano's wheels had made ruts. I asked her first if it were okay to have an acoustic piano. She said yes. I drove all the way, five hundred some odd miles, to Fayettenam all the while getting closer to the source of my disturbance. While my subfloor was damaged by the water and possibly cracked, there was another element at play. It was the Fayetteville Death Ray. When I pulled up in our driveway, opened the door of my Toyota Tercel wagon, and stepped onto our asphalt driveway there it was. The Fayetteville Death Ray, not to be confused with Jeff Ray who was a guitarist who attended OSU when I was there working on my doctorate. Jeffy was hit and killed by an Amtrack train while taking promotional photos for his music career. Jeff was killed by an oncoming Amtrack train. How could they not hear this train? A passenger train traveling over sixty miles and hour, and they didn't have time to get out of the way. Damn. Poor Jeffy. I instinctively knew he would not live long. I knew it when I met him at OSU. Jeff would not live long. He would die tragically, and he did. It is a tragedy. I stepped onto our driveway, and I could feel my movement reciprocated in the air. The air in Fayetteville was pressurized to a point of being animated, only it wasn't. It wasn't animated. It was not cartoonish and happy. It was alive, moving, and angry. If I pushed on it, it pushed back. Later I discovered these are the properties of "Standing Waves." RADAR is a standing electromagnetic wave. Instead of dissipating into the air they stand. Acoustic standing waves are created in a variety of ways, and often if there is a reported haunting it is because of an acoustical standing wave. Standing waves mostly are low frequency, because they have much longer wavelengths and move more air. Below twenty hertz they become sound pressure rather than audible sound. Vic Tandy can tell you a thing or two about standing waves. He has studied them. Later I came to understand what causes this pressurization in our air. We are lucky to be at the crossroads. It's too bad I can't strike a deal with the devil and find success in the music business. Instead at our crossroads we are at a common point for multiple rail freight yards. Yahoo! (and not the internet kind) Multiple rail freight yards. How, you say, is that possible in the burgeoning megalopolis of Fayettenam? Easiest answer? BRAC. Previously before BRAC there was Bush. What's worse, BRAC or Bush? They are about the same. Bush Sr. invaded Panama back in say 1989? This is when I became depressed for the first time. I was living in Columbia, South Carolina. I no longer was working for the university in their music department, and I was living a Park Place Apartments. For some unknown reason my mind and my senses shut down rendering me helpless. After many years of trying and exploration, it only was a few months ago I connected Bush Sr.'s invasion of Panama with my depression. Able American fighting forces mobilized and descended upon Panama from all directions. It must of been something. All of these American military bases bugging out to harass Manuel Noriega, who died only recently about the same time my father passed. It is fitting I guess. My depression was from low frequency sound previously that did not exist. My tuned, sensitive, and artistic inclinations using sound in music were being bombarded by the war chants of Bush Sr.'s invasion of Panama. AC traction had just come into existence in the railroad industry, and rest assuredly they were going to use it to haul all that military might around the world. Still they are doing it, and it all originates at Military Ocean Terminal Sunny Point south of Wilmington, North Carolina. Here in little old Fayettenam we are lucky to be in the cross hairs of multiple rail freight yards. What you say? How is that possible? Multiple rail freight yards? 1. Honeycutt Marshalling Yard, Fort Bragg. (Their mainline runs underneath Gruber Rd., where they have built multiple loading ramps to be able to load munitions on the down low. These are in buildings and go underground to the tracks hidden below Gruber Rd.) Please correct me if I am wrong. With BRAC came Ground Forces Command and a plethora of other high profile military commands. Shit is coming and going 24/7, especially since our Army is a privatized security force for corporate America. Ask Cheney. Along with those underground ammo dumps, I'm sure there are a handful of nukes sitting in silos. All in all it has become a high profile establishment, and little old us are of no consequence. Who cares if they load trains 24/7 with heavy haul AC traction locomotives, like the Taos Hum transmit low frequency sound and vibration through the ground. We are so grateful for such a thing. That is just number one. 2. DAK Americas. CSX-T hauls out their polyresin supplies, and evidently N/S switches them. My Google Maps shows a Norfolk Southern locomotive sitting in their freight yard. I would wager my left testicle that that old hunk of junk has been rebuilt to AC. 3. River Terminal. This is the Aberdeen and Rockfish's piece of cake. I always ask the question why a shortline railroads engine house is in Aberdeen, but they drive those antiquated rust buckets to our fair town to do their business. Whore? 10:45 A.M. Used to be their engineers would blow that infernal annoying horn. It toddles past our neighborhood, a two stroke turbo-charged outdated diesel engine, to the N/S switching yard on Russell Street. It is unmistakable, the vibration of this machine. Always I have said it is like sleeping on the hood of a running eighteen wheeler. We are so lucky to have this each and every day, an A/R locomotive or two freely roaming around Fayetteville. Then they drive back to Southern Pines to bed down for the day. They drive to Fayettenam to do their work, then drive back to Aberdeen. Convenient set up, huh? Isn't that nice. I'm sure Pinehurst appreciates it as well. Do you're dirty work in "The Ville" and come back to a golfing community to rest. 3. CSX-T Milan Yard. They have been putting trains together continuously for one month. The engines run all night, sitting, idling, just the way Hunter Harrison would have wanted. That's four, right? Four discreet railyards, and what is the bonus prize? If I take a scale and measure the distance to each of these railyards on a Google map, what is the result? 1., 2., 3., and 4. all are about the same distance from our crossroads. Five miles. You could have not achieved a better triangulation in high school geometry class. Assault from all side, north, east, and south. What's on the west side? The Normandy Drop Zone. Ain't life grand, in Fayettenam?

The Rise of Communism In America
Never consciously had I disliked North Carolina, until my graduation day from UNC- Chapel Hill. I just completed the most rigorous, taxing, and enlightening four years of my life completing a Bachelor of Music Education degree. When I stepped off the stage I was offered $17,500.00 a year to teach in North Carolina's public schools. Nothing has changed. Our state is one of the nation's bottom five for the lowest teacher's salaries. Why would I consider this token job in 1985, after spending four years in one of the countries best universities? I was insulted. Consequently never have I taught in the North Carolina public school system. Both of my parents did, and as Baby Boomers their chosen teaching careers were rewarded greatly. America was different then. We all know that. It is drastic how much America has changed. It is politics, not the American Dream, American stamina, American spirit, or our Founding Fathers. Politics, the system of negotiation our elected officials use to govern our nation, has failed. It has failed, because the lobbying industry has become so strong they either bully, coerce, tempt, or bribe our elected officials with money. Lobbying from corporate America in our private sector governs America in complete abandonment of how the Founding Fathers intended. Does this corporate-controlled government adhere to the United States Constitution? They could not continue to govern if they did not, but rest assured the allegiance to our nation's charters is not what it once was. Times have changed, our economy has changed, and our priorities have changed. Whether they abide by our Constitution is not the foremost issue. The foremost issue is that our elected officials, including the President elected by an Electoral College, do not represent the interests of America's citizens. While close, three million Americans chose Hillary Clinton to be our new President? How was Donald Trump elected? This question never has been raised. What is an Electoral College, and who are these individuals? Why do they get to make the decision who is the President of the United States? What good is a popular vote if it is not used to choose the President? George W. Bush defeated Al Gore in the Florida court system. I do not think he won, but Al Gore choose to concede thinking he was doing the appropriate thing. He had too much dignity to continue the fight. Consequently since George W. Bush's election, the country drastically has declined in every way possible. It is almost as if God is baiting the American people to revolt. Both Russia and France revolted against their governments. Will we? Since the Bush family inhabited our White House, things have gone awry. Oil men it would seem have no interest in representing the interests of common Americans. They are interested in making money from oil. Dick Cheney would not allow a Muslim dictator to control a large percentage of the world's oil market, and now we have America's longest war. We are still attempting to clean up the Bush mess. Not many months ago our Congress created an eight hundred billion dollar slush fund for America's military. This was not part of Donald Trumps fiscal budget, which he recently submitted. Since 9/11what have we seen our military do? They are attempting to clean up the Bush mess. We attacked a foreign country under false pretenses, utterly destroyed their country by bombing their infrastructure, and left our military equipment there to fuel the formation of the most deadly terrorist cell in American history. ISIS was created by George W. Bush, and today our American military is employed not to serve us, but to clean up W.'s mess. If we were to utilize our military, a well-paid, in shape, trained fighting force to rebuild America's infrastructure, we would be smart. Instead as America often has done, we spend America's money on War Economy. This is what we have today. There is no other economy, because Bill Clinton forged the path of Globalization at the behest of Corporate America and Wall Street. Globalization is what wounded America, and we will not recover. Never will America's economy recover when corporations will pay foreign labor forces a fraction of the needed salary to live in America. Americans have been forced into poverty, and it will not be long before we are back in slavery again. Since the day I graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill, that is what is has felt like to me. There is a simple remedy. Cow tow to the man, submit, don't make waves and they will hire you. Be American, free, strong, and independent, and you will be unemployed. In my four strenuous years at UNC I never learned this. No one ever told me that you had to be subservient to be employed in America. No one ever told me that I had to live in the "little black box," the box held by the rich, the mafia, corporate America, and now our government. I was naive enough to think that if you adhered to Christian principals, abided by the Ten Commandment, and worked hard you would be rewarded. The way America has rewarded me is by making my chosen vocation irrelevant. In recent years our great American values, values which built and grew this nation, have been discarded. The grassroots professions, skills, and services that built America no longer are deemed valuable. Agriculture, textiles, furniture, the arts, and other humanity-based professions have been become extinct en lieu of cheap foreign-made crap. My profession, the professional music industry, is thought should be free. An industry which was an integral component of the twentieth century, the music industry and its appreciation of quality music, has been deemed unimportant. Thus the values associated with quality music, a quality life, have been usurped. Instead we rely upon instant gratification from addictive technology allowing Americans to be controlled like drones. I tried Distro Kid. I posted five of my original music projects in internet stores. What all ready has been understood by mainstream musical artists was true. Spotify, Rhapsody, Apple Music, and the rest think that our music is worth only a minute fraction of what it should be. They want to play our music for their own gain for free. Musical artists other than the small handful of produced bought-and-paid-for pop stars have no opportunity ever to see financial gain from their craft. That is what I see each day when I wake, a nation, a state, that wants to pay me nothing to teach our young people, and an economy which thinks my artistic renderings should be free sacrifices to the graven images of the modern American economy. Then there is this NRA. There are special interest groups, but this NRA defies any logic. The same groups of grassroot Americans who believe in militias and prepare for the end are not represented by this special interest group. It is a ruse. There is no logic to a "civil rights" organization that feels military weaponry should be made available to common people. What kind of training has the populace received to be able to handle assault rifles? When I try to discern who this group is, this NRA, I have no answer. In light of mass shooting after shooting after shooting on our home soil, still a civil rights organization thinks military weaponry should be available to the populace. Are any of these people, the elite businessmen who created and fund the NRA going to pick up a weapon and hold a post? Are they going to sit on that wall? The answer is "No." The availability of assault weapons is not a literal right. It is a figurative right, a right that extremists use to fight abstract, propagandistic, wars of attrition. It is a small group of weak, afraid, Caucasian men who want to rule the world at all cost. They are Hitler, they are Lenin and Stalin, and they are Mussolini. As I have reiterated time and time again, extreme terrorism all ready has been in mainstream America for years. It has become our American government. Our military is a private paid fighting force used to secure the interests of these men. These interests are the natural resources of the Middle East. That is why we still are fighting America's longest war.

N.C. on My Dumb Ass Mind
The reason why North Carolina is hot in February, Feb. 11 to be exact, 70+ degrees in the middle of winter, splinter, schinter, Global Warming, forming is the Motza Ball. Military Ocean Terminal Sunny Point. Doink. Joint. No point. The MOTZA ball. Hall. Haul ass out of N.C. D.C. She for me. Dee pee dee. Mime. Rhyme. N.C. is hot in winter, not because of a splinter, but because military trains, reins, Gaines, are fraining the membrane, "Mop!", flop on the dop, MOTSU is loading shite on the kike. Dyke on the kyke, heard the hype? Military Ocean Terminal Sunny Point is loading munitions from trains and trucks to cargo ships, amuck. Heat, heat, and not petite. Heat that surges from the murges, right up the Cape Fear River Valley, to Fayettenam. Heat. Heat. Not Petitie. Ripe. Precise. Not concise. Hot in Feb. No debs. Debutante. Not! Rot. Golden pussy. Lick it before you stick it. Halt! Grammephone. Damn, it's the phone. Global farming, and warming. No one questions, we just gesture. No conspiracy. Just lunacy. Heat in Feb. No Debs. Summer in winter, Mother Nature will splinter. Soon, to boon, to Mar, Del Mar. It's too hot for February. MOTSU ball is causing the fall. Ships and trips, locos and docos, Datsun, defunct.... It's too hot. Humidity coming fromt the Atlantic, right up the Cape Fear river basin. Military Ocean Terminal Sunny Point. Joint. Smoke. Weed. Need to be held accountable... The U.S. Military, takes 800 Billion, people are dying. No denying. Trump is Gump, but Gump was intelligent. Gent he's not. Know. Dot Frot. Frog. Mo Hog. Dawg. Heat is going to kill Earth. Not so many years left. Better make you peace with The Creator. God knows it. But we have to live in it. Word.

Disrespect Fayetteville
In 1978 my family purchased a home in Vanstory Hills. My parents worked their entire lives to be able to afford this home. "BRAC" and a handful of oligarchical businessmen have disrespected our neighborhood and continue to lower our property values. As investors attempt to improve the image of Fayetteville with downtown development and urban sprawl, citizens continue to leave Cumberland County. Crime has risen to a critical point, soldiers are moving to Pinehurst, and Vanstory struggles to survive. Mirror Lake Drive has been closed for over a year inconveniencing neighbors and congesting traffic. Vanstory unknowingly has become Miramar. Flight paths to Grannis Field have been changed, and BRAC has made Fort Bragg the largest military base in the country. Air traffic strafes our neighborhood continuously. Low flying aircraft above the tree line spew allergens that continue to make our eyes burn inside our homes. We cannot open the windows, and the toxic jet wash is killing our foliage. Our neighborhood has become expendable for the good of BRAC and the wealth of local industry. DAK, Cargill, Chemours, Valley Proteins, Hexion, Fayetteville Block, and Goodyear are priorities for CSX-T. PWC is overcharging customers, and Duke Energy demands users pay for the clean up of their coal ash. Never has such a community including the Gold Coast, Skye Drive, Vanstory Hills, and Huntington Park been treated so poorly. My father is turning over in his grave.

The Shape of Shite
I'm in no mood to write lucidly. I don't know if I can form a coherent statement, but I am hot, aggravated, and tired of the Fayettevillle "Death Ray." Others I see around me look similar. Their eyes are taxed, their emotions wrought, and their demeanor one of survival. Fayetteville is HOT, hot from its "Death Ray." How is it possible that it can be 65 degrees one day and 11 the next? How could have Mother Nature run so awry that she cannot control her temperature? How do the plants know when to bloom, when to pollinate, and when to go dormant, when the temperatures are all over the place. Ask Trump. Ask Guillermo Del Toro, the director of "The Shape of Water." How can you include every revolting sexist stereotype in a film and have it be revered by the masses, nominated for awards, and heralded as art? Rapidly I am learning about Trump America, white America, elitist America where everyone seems to believe everyone should own a Negro. How could one not be revolted at the sexist behavior in "The Shape of Water?" "I still have my thumb, my trigger finger, and my pussy finger?" "Why am I interviewing the people that swab the piss, and the shit?" That the New York Times or the Washington Post can say this is a wonderful film, a dreamy, clever homage to American cinema? The embodiment of white supremacist America by a Mexican director, surely he has danced for his supper and the plantation owners are clapping. "Bring me another nigger to dance for me!" "The Shape of Water" is worse than a Beanarritu bought and paid for DeCaprio Emmy. Repugnant characters, stereotypical Little Rascal cameos, and racists undertones. Was it a satire? Was it a parody? For the New York Times and the Washington Post to sing its praises so highly, it only could have been. Who would laugh at Fascism on the screen? Those ignorant enough not to understand it gross implications? Trump America? Yes Indeed. If The Academy saw fit to reward the most amateurish soundtrack of 2017 to "La La Land" (and it is no surprise seeing its competition), then this vote paved the way for the most ridiculous, cheesiest, and infuriating film in years. "La La Land" was insulting, with its cruise ship musical score and amateur production. Maybe it had a story, but Del Toro's take on the "Swamp Thing" or "Creature from the Black Lagoon" was as self indulgent as "Showgirls." With no plot, intrigue, surprise, or mystery, "The Shape of Water" was a comic book, a graphic novel meant for children, but who in America would let their children see that? Masturbating in a bathtub in the first five minutes of the film? The most low ball ethnic jokes found of the floor of the toilet the maids cleaned? How anyone agreed to be a part of such a mockery of America, well they are limping to the bank. Bad dog. Bad dog. Bad Del Toro. Go back to Mexico and give your own country a bad name for a while. America demands better from you.

It's an All Points Bulletin (The B.S. is as thick as moss)
I never have been bombarded with such B.S. B.S from every front, from all fronts. It's very afronting the B.S. B.S. on the ground. B.S. in your gown. B.S. in the air, Pee Pee in your hair. B.O. on the down low, B.S. Weiner News, with a capital W. Women's right to equal pay. Yes. Women broadcasters? A thing of the past. Hen parties, clucking and clucking about nothing. Should be f--king. The national news was a cell phone commercial. Immediately it tells you who owns their station, their network, their institution, everything. The "Man." He owns it all and is dictating the news, Weiner News. How about the particle accelerator in Switzerland? How about the U.S. Military's triumph over ISIS? We get Weiner News. Weiner News. Amateur news reporting. B.S so deep I am tired of stepping in it. The most evolved and successful nation on earth? The most expensive health care costs AND children of dying of the flu? @#$%^&^$##@!!!!!!!! Failure of the status quo on a massive level. Deception. Defeat. Trump. Government shut down? Tax cut for the rich. A trillion dollar addition to the deficit. For the rich. B.S. Kids dying of the flu? America's health care system failing at a massive level. Not enough fluids. Can't fight the flu? Can't do, anything. I'll do anything to escape the B.S. Today FedEx called and told me that I would be getting a package today, and I should be here to sign for it. I waited, at home, ALL DAY. No package. FedEx. Fred X. Freeda Burrito. No package. All day, waiting for the cable guy. Time Warner. How inconsiderate. It's the weather they say. It was 100% sunny today. Sunny on all fronts. Slave compounds on 87 South. Human trafficking. The murder of whores in Lumbieville. Drug dealers. 50 caliber machine guns going all day, in your back yard. Anxiety over death. Anxiety over war. People dropping like flies. Is there any news left. On You Tube to be eligible for monetization you must have 1000 subscribers and 1000 view minutes per month. I have more minutes than that but only 250 subscribers. Subscribers? To what do they subscribe? Precrime? Free trial? You will never make a penny from You Tube unless you are Sandy Somers, a Brazilian ex-porn actress who unpackages Disney toys for tots. Kiddie porn, and I hear she makes two million a year. It's all politics. They choose. They decide who gets what. All of it. Living in a box, and not the right box. Hot box. Jennifer's hot box. Boxy. Foxy. Toad. Chode. Afrode of the dark. Monster's Ball. Billy Bob T. Halle Berry. "Make me feel good."

Dickendorff
So (beginning a sentence with a conjunction, which is a "no-no,") Hans Zimmer and his buddy stepped in to do the score for Bladerunner 2017. (Sorry, it is another date, but what significance is '49'? Summer of Forty Two. 1981. 2012. 2049. Blade Runner 2049. It was a heavy film, heavy in content, tone, and intent. I liked it, but I was not ready for the Apocalyptic content. After realizing that I would be frightened by the scenario (and it was realistic, mainly from little sounds morphed into big sounds via EQ). This is a new cinematic technique that untalented composers are using. If you can't really compose themes with a pencil, you can improvise on shitty samplers and turn the bass up. Infrasonic textures will emerge, not really music or a score, but sound effects that emulate war. Not my cup of tea for a film, but it was effective enough. I am tired of looking at the Apocalypse. Fully I believe it could happen in our lifetime, and fully I believe if Trump remains President it is likely. It is our decision, the U.S. of A. Keep Trump in power as our president, or impeach him for the Nazi. It's bust however you look at it. Pence? Cheney? Nazi? What is worse? Cheney was awarded no bid contracts to rebuild Iraq. Haliburton masterminded "The War on Terror" and went to the bank. Only today, 2018, have we cleaned up his mess. Cheney should be prosecuted as a war criminal at The Hague. Maybe he will die in prison like Slobodan Milosovich. We would be so lucky. All of our recent presidents are corrupt and evil, so it is this chapter in American history in which we live. It is tiring, although Hollyweird is trying. Tony Bennett always has been my favorite jazz singer second to Joe Williams. He was awarded the Gershwin prize and he deserves it. That was a nice band, and the eccentric pianists had feel out the whazoo. Tony's pianist didn't swing that much, but his interpretation of words is Frankian, or perhaps better. Bennian. I enjoyed the show at the DAR Constitutional Hall. The acoustics were impeccable, and the sound was rich, full, and full of life. G-Phan was on her regular game and "The Words Did Not Get in the Way." For a middle-aged man and single, those gals were punk. It is a tragedy that Amy Winehouse died. America may be the best country in the world, as Tony saith, but we have a long way to go to even catch up to our former glory. What we have are rich kids having fun. I want to say this emphatically now. The new CEO policy, CEO's being paid exponentially more than anyone else, for their influence on Segal Street? All ready it has become apparent that if you don't PAY employees who do a job, the company will fail. All of them will fail, because you need employees to do jobs that CEO's and their rich kids can't do. Trump. (Subliminal messaging) Not Gump. Trump. Trump is the example. Slavery. Do nothing at the top, and fire all of your employees because revenue is being created by bubbles and futures. Eventually your company will die, because no longer is it a company. Companies have employees, diverse rosters of intelligent, talented, willing, artists who create content and lead the world. When you pare down you company, eliminate these jobs, and refuse to pay anyone, then you get, well WalMart. Sam is turning over in his grave. If you don't PAY sound engineers, lighting technicians, and grips, you won't have a quality show. You will have Steven (or is it Stephan?) Colbert. Lousy sound, no boom mic, no AKG or Sennheiser on the desk, and amateur lavaliers. I had to stop watching a fruity drummer in a Brokeback Mountain cowboy hat. Jimmy Fallon, James Corden, and Steven all of show-worthy talent. James Corden sings as well as anyone, and he knows the songs as well as the artists. Car Pool Karioke is the highpoint of his show, and Madonna to this day makes me hot. Why? Not because of her button-pushing, but because she understands music and dance. The choreography is just as important as the music, and while she or Brittany may not be the most capable of vocalists, they do understand and feel what they are singing. It is visual, and I am becoming more visual, a visual artist. A poet, don't know it. A Jackson. A Johnson, on a farm in Iowa seducing Clint Eastwood, or Johann Johannson Johnson, aka Jerimiah Johannson big boobies. Without job descriptions, work, and a concept, no company can exist. Renderman just cannot do all the work. The slavery concept that has been emerging in America is not new. It is our soul. Affluent dickheads that believe that slaves should work for free for their gain? It is why Abraham Lincoln said "Nay!" (and hundreds of thousands of Americans lost their lives on our native soil) Remember that? It draws nigh.
Bladerunner XXX
Since I bashed the technology of our time in my last blog entry, a defensive front was launched. It was a good thing. It reminded me that there have been some great strides in modern technology. The only thing is now I can't remember them. One was Alexa. Bezos's invention, or rather his further expansion of voice recognition software into Alexa, was an entrepreneurial achievement. Apple, before Time Cooke, all ready has developed most of the things any computer company is marketing today. Tim Cooke just took nerdy professional home computing, computing not done on the UNIX platform in a company, watered it down, sprinkled it with pop, and addicted most of America. Even adults took a bite of his apple. When a plumber comes to you home to fix a leak in you tub oozing through your downstairs ceiling umbilically attached to his phone talking to his wife.... He couldn't even put the phone down long enough to tighten the pressure fittings. He acted like it was an inconvenience for him to be there fixing his partner's mistake. Finally he put the phone down on the toilet seat and in a few seconds fixed our problem. In the process he broke the fifty-two year old tub trap. Not only did his partner leave without tightening the fittings, he didn't plug the tub when he drilled through the tile. All of that debris went into the tub trap and clogged it up. This guy acted like we were fabricating the whole thing. His only point of interest was having to come back and replace ALL of the tub's pipes in the ceiling to fix one broken screw. We had been waiting for them to return for a few days, and now they wanted us to wait two more weeks with the ceiling caving in downstairs. It's hit and miss with plumbers, just like it is with auto mechanics. Most of the time they are pitching you a repair that doesn't exist. Anyway, Tim took Apple's great products, laced them with crack cocaine, and started going to the bank. Never was I interested in "apps." Microsoft's first versions of Word were the best. Later, like most things today, companies lost direction, focus, and morality. Computing has become a crap shoot of keeping up. Apple and the rest, because the best products all ready have been made years ago, just keep tweaking their operating systems to make your life more difficult. The biggest erroneous trend was basing your home computing, not web browsing, on the internet. Registering your products. Receiving product support. Banking. This opened the door for Chinese and Russian hackers to bugger the lot of us. Anyone who would trust their information to a plural cloud server is stupid. You deserve to get hacked and lose your information. I don't even use Drop Box. Because I have been a professional composer for a while, I protect my work. It all is copyrighted by the Library of Congress Copyright Office. I have certificates for each submission, and there are a lot. Today, like everything else, the significance of copyright seems moot. Once, when ASCAP and BMI were power players in the entertainment industry and collected royalties, copyright was important. Today the modern technology consort has deemed artistic content, almost everything, worthless. Technology, really internet technology, with digital streaming dramatically has lessened the value of visual media. If your content is available on an unsecured internet, then how can it have value? Music was first, and Mr. Napster is responsible for the collapse of the recording industry. I can understand using a hard drive as your home entertainment system. It is convenient especially if you work on a ship. I debated buying a laptop computer for a long time. After I did iTunes became indispensable to me as a professional tool. I archived everything I had ever done musically, performances, compositions, and the like. When a Guest Entertainer came to a ship, most likely I would have a self made recording of their show. I never shared it with anyone, but it was a valuable learning tool. I used a Sharp mini disc player with a specialty miniature condenser mic. German engineers created the compression scheme for the mini disc player, and the modern MP4 we use for digital music is based on it. The mini disc sounds incredibly good, and I have hung onto these machines. I have four, and three microphones. I prefer them to any stand along portable MP4 recorder available today. When I stopped playing on ships for a living, it took a long time to acclimate to the old school. I still had my stereo equipment from back in the day, just like I had all of my professional music gear. It just needed TLC. The turntable finally I pitched into the garbage only a few weeks ago, but the rest of it I still use. I have begun to appreciate again CD's, DVD's, vinyl albums, and cassette tapes. I have my great uncle's vintage classical collection on vinyl, I have tapes I made while studying for general exams at OSU, and I have CD's and DVD's. Most of the DVD's were purchased while working on the ships. Before the crew channels began showing first run movies, I carried these around in folders for late night entertainment. The laptop is a great faux miniature movie theater which sits on your chest as you are lying in your bunk. Now I am remembering how to use all of this information. It dawned on me that part of your life is spent collecting invaluable media, and part of your life is intended to consume it. We must remember when it is okay to consume. In times of spiritual malaise, political despair, and depression it becomes time to look to this media for upliftment. I went to see Bladerunner last night, and I was shocked that it became a horror film. It was a heavy worthy movie, but it was more emotional intensity than I expected. I will give it the prize for what is happening in the world today: How to make as much money as possible from nothing. The musical score for Bladerunner was the epitome of this philosophy. I have not yet looked up the composer for the score, but I can say without a doubt that it seemed like a beginner. This leads me to believe that Bladerunner was a low budget film. Computers can do a lot these days, but the visuals were pretty high brow. The music was not in the same category. They did what people do today. Without having an understanding of a craft, you just turn up the EQ. Take some crappy digital samples, and turn up each band of EQ until the sounds morphs from instrument into sound effect. That's what most modern films do anyway, jungle drums and low frequency sound effects. The sheer volume in the theater turned the film into a horror experience. The sounds of war, machines, violence, and death were omnipresent, and they were effective enough. They amateurishly were created.

Deserved Hacking
What's frightening about what's happening in "technology" is the mergers. Conveniently as Big Brother re-writes history, the break up of the telecommunications industry into the "Baby Bells" is absent. Does anyone remember? The only difference to what is happening now is the cycle has not completed itself. Back in the day the "wire" was our lifeline. Telephone lines were important and thus capitalism gave them worth. Like what is happening today companies keep selling their wares at a profit, and a small group ends up controlling everything. It is called a Corporate Monopoly. Luckily in the l980's our federal government was honest enough to see this monopoly as a threat to capitalism and our economy which supports our populace. Also luckily not that long ago our federal government was honest enough to see Microsoft's actions as a threat and broke their company up into individual pieces. They lagged for a bit, but if we believe what we hear and read today computer technology is breaking records. How is it humanly possibly that Apple could be approaching the trillion dollar mark? It is not because consumers love their products. It is because stockholders and board members are hyping the product. This product, whatever is may be, is called tech. Tech today is a broad term that encompasses anything and everything internet and computer companies are pitching. It has been being gobbled up like tainted Halloween candy. Then Zuckerberg drops the ball, sells thousands of ads to Russian lobbyists, and the jig is up. Net neutrality becomes an issue and Congress passes legislation that does what? I don't really know, other than it is something about slowing down and speeding up internet service. I'm sure censorship is involved. So all we know is AT&T is trying to buy Time/Warner, and because they all ready bought Direct TV this rapidly is becoming an ensuing corporate monopoly. Blah. Blah. What is means to us is more inane commercials about whose 3G network is the fastest. Who really cares? Who the fuck is J.D. Powers anyway? I don't care. I don't care because I don't own a smartphone. I prefer a laptop computer, because the screen is too small. I have no interest in using Wi-Fi over a cell network, watching streaming video over the internet, or sexting underaged women. I am content with what America has produced over the last two decades, and it is good enough. The rest is deceptive hype. Allow Amazon to unlock my front door and deliver a package? Not gonna happen. Control my home security system with a phone? Not gonna happen. If anyone is gullible enough to buy any of these products or like corporate America use a Cloud computing network, they deserve to get hacked. Hack that.
Human Survival
I blew off a lot of steam in my last blog post, but that was not all of it. Things keep occurring to me the more I refuse to succumb to the submissive demands of the American South. "Why make waves, boy?" "Why stir the pot?" "Why can't you just leave things the way they are?" If we do, then all of the predictions of the fall of America will happen. The eradication of the middle class, rule by oligarchy, and then the impending civil war which will ruin America. Most of the plots in science fiction movies in America's past are on mark. Skynet is real. As soon as Bill Clinton paved the way for airborne, space-oriented, microwave transponders Skynet became real. My point is about perceived technology. That is all we hear about today. Technology. I have been reflecting on technology, and it dawned on me refusing to succumb to the submissive demands of the American oligarchy, that the technology that is being pitched today, and I mean feverishly pitched on a minute to minute basis, is not traditional technology at all. If one takes the time to look back in America's recent history, most of the technological demands, the meaningful ones, all ready have been met. We in technology, like in jazz and cinema, all ready have reached the pinnacle of achievement. We just don't know it yet, because we are too brainwashed to acknowledge anything other than what media is pitching us on a minute to minute basis. We would never know that anything else existed except automobiles sanctioned by J.D. Powers and G whatever wireless networks. As I was watching a movie circa 1956 on the MGM channel last night, it dawned on me that this film, this achievement, far surpassed anything we see today. True American technology, the great inventions of necessity which have built this country, dwarf the horny minds of Silicone Valley. A distinction will be made in the near future. Technology, great American technology exists in the past. It, like jazz, all ready as reached a pinnacle of achievement. We only must look back. Technology is building the Hoover Dam, the Brooklyn Bridge, putting a man on the moon, or providing clean drinking water to the masses. What is being pitched to us today as technology merely is online and wireless networking. Yes strides have been made in computing such as 3D printing, but making computers smaller and equipping them with trite "apps" to control our home security systems or pay for drinks is not really technology. It is software development, a bit of entrepreneurship, and a whole lot of young money reaped from the same technology bubble which created online E-Commerce. We keep hearing about technology. Are Dr. Dre's $200.00 headphones really that much better than Bose or Sennheiser? Most of what we hear today is hype, spin, bubbles being blown by Wall Street step children. Technology is the Yamaha DX-7, the Korg M1, or the first sampler which could digitally record sound and play it back from a computer keyboard. These trite little "apps," violent games which actualize and foster suppressed mental illness created by our own polluted environment, and Social Media which all ready has proven to have been Big Brother only disguise true America. It is a scam of giant proportions. Hype, crap, and spin which eventually will burn out leaving the vacuous black whole that is Wall Street. If you don't make anything, if you don't engage in the survival of the human species by the sheer nature of biology, we will cease to exist. Like in War of the Worlds, a minute speck of bacteria will infiltrate our systems and it will be over in the blink of an eye. Today Monsanto, GE, and Big Pharma have pushed the envelope further than it ever has been pushed by irresponsible man. God has destroyed the earth before, but today evil man is accomplishing the same task. If they Mayans predicted 2012, then it merely is taking a little longer to make itself known. If we tried to believe what the media and government are telling us, it would be impossible. That is because both are pawns of the oligarchy. What they tell us is not truth, it is Donald Trump's attempt at being liked. Global Warming, Global Warming, and Global Warming. Flick. They flip a switch, turn off Skynet (Star Wars), and record frigid temperatures are at hand. Believe yourself. Believe in yourself, because never was it more necessary to human survival than today.

Doomsday
I was just going to write a straight blog entry, until I noticed that "Roy's Lolita" had more hits. It was laced with Hip/Hop jazz, rhythmic rhyming at which I am good. Poetry is like music, and while I was on ships and the music muse evaded me, I took to the poetry pen. It flowed like wine, but it also flowed because I was in love. There was my muse. I have no muse today. All I have is total and inescapable depression. I have become well equipped to actualize my own happiness, but that is not possible when the entirety of your country is steeped in despair. There are few places to turn. Then I realize the only solution is to recognize and confront reality. It is a shite state, one so bleak that it defies the majority of my life's experiences. I remember back in the 70's during the era of Viet Nam. Life was bleak then. The war was on the news every night. Turbulent times in America often spark immense creativity, but that creativity is impotent unless The Man allows. Today we have an unprecedented corporate monopoly possibly unlike any other time in American history. From high school history I remember a time when Trusts ruled the roost. Old money which was passed down through family generations ran America. The names are familiar, so I will not say them. The names now have changed and tech companies have inherited the power. I am so nauseous watching the local news I barely can stand it. It is the same feeling I had when I graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill in 1985. It was clear to me that freedom was not possible. A small handful of socialites ruled America, and I was not interested in kissing their ass to fit in. Thirty-eight years later I am no better off. I spent the last five years of my life bringing my father's life to an end. I stopped working, moved in with my mother, and took care of the family in an abstract way. Never was it understood what I was doing. In reality it was seen as mooching. I was living in my parent's house for free, but it was not free. It far was from free. I earned my keep and continue to do so, but I am tiring of the responsibility. I am tired of not being independent and free to pursue my own life. That is the call of family. I was in close proximity to my father until he died peacefully on May 6th, 2017. I am glad I was here, although it was a tumultuous time. I began cooking for my mother and myself. As she looked over my dad, I looked over her. I continue to do so. With that task at hand the future looks bleak. I tried emphatically once to try and plan for my impending future, but it was met with outrage. I retracted any plans to be a responsible, independent, productive adult and resigned myself to be a child, a child with a large amount of responsibility taking care of a property and a mother. I am not a care-giver in a literal sense. I am an abstract care giver masquerading as an adult. I have no life of which to speak, but that is okay. I have been through it before. I was exploited by academia and then cast aside. My life was ruined, and yet I started it anew. It took a long time, and now I am back in it again mainly because I am back in the same area where things never have changed. It is amazing how things have not changed, not one bit. Vehemently they stay the same because the baby boomers who forged this place never will relinquish their control. Instead they just die off leaving a completely unprepared populace to wrangle the shit that has been dealt to my generation. I am unusual. Most of my colleagues have successful lives, those who do not live here. Here is a place undefinable. It wreaks havoc on the unsuspecting. It is a sewer, a toilet of the United States military. Like everything life in America today is a faint shadow. Pale and polluted life in America is a depressed, hollow, spiritless ghost running the alley's of Donald Trump's country clubs. Everywhere I look, everything I see, every word I hear is a mockery of the American Ideal. Yes, people are making money, but they are making money the wrong way and for the wrong reasons. As I watch the local news I hear fat cat talking about restoring downtown Raleigh. He is so happy that he is doing something historic, tearing down history and building inconsequential shit that iPhone watching panty wipes want. I can't listen to it. I can't listen to the fact that sixty new people are moving to the Triangle everyday. To me that means overpopulation, L.A.-like traffic, and pollution. It does not mean prosperity except to the fat cat that has bought up property in downtown Raleigh. It makes me want to puke. He is a beady-eyed pig who barely can communicate with an average reporter. He is so ensconced in his own material wealth, like most Wall Street bankers and traders, his disingenuous bent is tangible. It is all he can do to convey his selfish and greedy business. He is an opportunist, someone who has no inclination to watch out for the future of America or the world. We are so misguided, so off path, so dishonest, and disingenuous how can God even consider us? Recently a college aquaintance posted a blog entry about moving into administration from the humanities. It was all I could do to listen. He has had the grail, a college teaching position for most of his life. He has had the family like many of my friends from high school. They all grew up the same way, into their parents, yuppies with kids. I have spent the last five years of my life burying my father. I gave up what life I had for my family. I didn't think about it too much. It was the right thing to do. I gave up any prospect of having a future for myself in lieu of providing support for what was left of my family. Any time I made an attempt to be responsible by thinking about myself and how I could be productive, it was met with scorn. So like Jesus I gave it up. Most days I get up and feel an impassioned urge to be productive in the field of music, but what's the point? The jobs in Fayetteville died with my father. His era, the era of the Baby Boomers, which wholly and totally took care of their own generation, up and left the remnants of America to us. To Trump. To an Army that is rife with homosexuality, a private security force protecting the poppy fields of the Sackler family. The media is nonexistent. Here are my headlines. The American military victory in Iraq. The repair of the power grid in Puerto Rico. The fleecing of America by Congress. The skewing of heterosexuality and God. The fall of Capitalism. The death of art in America. None of it gets coverage. We are in complete denial of the reality of what America has become. The media is promoting tech, the thing that has killed the American spirit. It won't be long before it all will come tumbling down, and only those capable of sowing a seed, tending a crop, or fetching a pail of water will survive.

Tesla and his Innovation
I never really even got started, but I did it in a passive humanitarian way. I never really even hit the nail on the head, because none of us, me included, really know the answer. Maybe Tesla knows the answer, and I don't mean a car company. Electricity, this magical wondrous thing that fuels our world. It, like everything else, we have exaggerated into a technological marvel which better was understood in America's glory days. Those who created our country, those inventors, apprentices, and master craftsmen who designed, shaped, and built America are gone. The legacy they alone created by sweat, toil, perseverance, and love has been exploited, re-branded, re-purposed, and manipulated by a petty few who seem to be good at trading numbers. Within this mix there are innovators who deserve credit, millennials who have found something new like Alexa. The problem is as soon as the novelty brings revenue, North Korea, Russia, or China will steal and use the idea for political gain. It all ready has happened with the internet. It has been infiltrated, and the Cold War has begun again. Tesla may know the answer, but none of us do. What is happening in an ES44AC is anybody's guess. I know roughly what is happening, because I have read about it. Tesla invented the AC or alternating current driven motor. It differs from a DC or direct current motor by not having brushes on the rotor to carry current. Instead like magic, there is no touching between the rotor and the stator, a cylinder with complex wire windings which carry current and create an electromagnetic field. Somehow when alternating current is applied to the windings the electromagnetic field begins to move along the circular shape of the stator. It moves in a circle over and over again, and this moving electromagnetic field drags along the rotor with it. It pulls the rotor without touching it by producing a strong magnetic field. Magnets are what make the motor spin. Until the early 1990's we did not have the technology to know how to control the speed of an AC motor. Maybe we used rheostats. With the advent of a reliable and portable personal computer (Bill Gates) strides also were made in the field of semiconductors. Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistors and Thrysistors were invented allowing electrical switching. Amazingly a system was developed that allowed the computer to control the frequency of electrical power. The computer. A PC. Wow. Of course that is not all there is to it. A large maze of electrical gear is needed to handle the high voltage of a diesel/electric prime mover. Inverters, rectifiers, and alternators are needed to change the frequency of AC current, which in turn somehow is in ratio with the motor speed. Less frequency of AC, the slower the motor turns. Higher frequency of AC, the motor turns faster. Word. How does that relate to a train? Traditional diesel/electric locomotives used DC traction motors. They were motors built into the axles of the locomotives. These are what pull the train. It would seem the railroads were not satisfied with the performance of these machines. On heavy haul applications such as coal trains traveling slowly on small grades the motors would overheat and burn out. Enter AC traction. Someone versed in the art of electricity would know that it performs in ways similar to sound. Interestingly electricity has frequency, wavelength, and harmonic content which you can hear. It is organic, alive, and dangerous. When dealing with a concept with which no one has before such as variable frequency alternating current, precautions should have been taken to study the process. In short I have a recording on minidisk of a departing AC4000 locomotive. I was parked directly adjacent to the pair of engines when it took off. I pushed the record button on my machine, and what I captured could have been used in a science fiction film. It was like a UFO taking off from earth and flying into the heavens. The sound of the processed electricity were breath taking. It roared, it hummed, and it grumbled, and none of this was the sound of a GEVO or 7FDL engine. These are sound solely that are produced by the electrical system of the train. America has been hearing 'The Hum" for years, and the hum created by this processing is most of it. When you create megawatts of electricity with a massive rotating alternator and only let a small amount of it out, the rest of the harnessed energy has something to say. It is like Beelzebub in chains, in a metal box screaming at the top of his lungs. Okay. The electricity makes noise, but the thing I do not know that Tesla might is leakage. I am familiar with the infrasound waves of trains. I live within earshot of the CSX-T mainline and a stone's throw from their Hamlet and Rocky Mount installations. I hear freight and passenger trains day in and day out, but something changed. Suddenly there was a new girl on the block. In addition to those undulating infrasound waves, and I have not yet described them all, is a new phenomenon. This wave changes in frequency in response to physical stimuli. At first I was sure it was the AC component of this new technology, but now this electrical processing is producing its own low frequency SOUND? Or could it be electricity? Because electricity behaves in similar waves to sound, perhaps what I am perceiving like sound actually is electricity. How could variable frequency alternating current be escaping into our home? At one point in Tesla's career, he had the bright idea of transmitting AC current to the world from a huge dish for free. That proves that AC can be transmitted through the air, but is that such a good idea? Certainly because we know both low frequency sound and electromagnetic waves are dangerous down low, wouldn't electricity follow suit? I feel this wave vibrating, and I know vibration is the result of magnetism. Also it is the result of electricity flowing. Consequently that means it could be an electromagnetic wave, but to broadcast or transmit low frequency electromagnetic signals one needs a 150 miles long antenna like the Navy has to communicate with its subs. This energy is not changing frequency. I postulate if it is not the United States military's targeting systems in the field, which some do use this technology, that is is "leaking" alternating current emanating from heavy haul 4,550 horse power GE locomotives. I have heard people say in Chicago along the tracks if you hold out a fluorescent bulb it will light up. That proves that truly we have electricity in the air enough to light up small appliances. If we as American citizens could not find a way to utilize this free energy instead of growing cancer cells.
