Roe vs. Wade is standing on uneven ground. Some think with the addition of John Roberts and Samuel Alito to our Supreme Court, it is just a matter of time before this ruling gets reversed. What do you think? You can watch un unstable mother drown her five children in the bathtub. You can watch an unstable mother put her children in a car and drown them into a lake. You can watch an unstable father murder his children and wife in their beds. On the other hand we can start respecting our American people. One step in the right direction is to allow irresponsible adults to divert their lives from almost certain chaos. What is more important, an unborn embryo or the flesh and blood human being that conceived it? If you say an unborn cell somehow needs or demands more care than its parents, you are wrong. To bring a cell into this world with dysfunctional parents, a world all ready overpopulated with single parents replete with violence and an uncertain future is irresponsible. People make mistakes. In an age where public education is in rapid decline, higher education costs have only risen, the middle class has been legislated extinct, and our job infrastructure has been outsourced, how could anyone make the argument a 'cell' deserves more respect than the American people themselves? It is arrogant and hypocritical just as it is to deny those same people the myriad benefits from human stem cell research. Somehow an unborn spirit or fetus is more likely to vote Republican? One common theory suggests there is all ready a cure for cancer, yet it will not be brought to light for fear the American Cancer Society will lose its millions. Who does this government really care about? Abortion should not be used as a method of contraception. It should be available for those in dire circumstances wishing to solve many of the stated problems before they are born. What is more responsible, an adult recognizing the rocky and unstable future of a welfare child destined for the Bloods or Cryps, or allowing that 'cell' to be brought into this world with a governmental promise of education and security. I can think of nothing more absurd. The government has abandoned us, so let's not let it do the same to our unborn children with a ridiculous campaign slogan. Who can we dupe next?
