Trump America

Our armed forces have many pain-inflicting tools.  Some are overt.  Some are covert.  Our armed forces, like the definition of the word "is," are comprised of many disparate units.  It depends on the definition.  Your perspective could be local, and all you see are the grunt G.I.'s shipped in from all over.  Maybe you know some of the civilian contractors, hundreds of them, that flock to Fort Bragg each day.  There is the Pentagon.  There is the DOD, the Department of Defense.  The Joints Chief of Staff.  The Commander in Chief.  Then there are defense contractors.  These are the people I dislike the most.  Boeing has killed hundreds of innocent civilians with flawed product, and they were rewarded with a multi-billion dollar defense contract.  Corruption, fraud, and pure evil seem to be inherent in these businesses.  Here in 'Nam the Gen X leakage has been an issue.  The EPA has responded well for the most part, but an editorial in the Fayetteville Observer today exposed what I had predicted.  The DOD urged the EPA to drop the clean up and containment clauses from the regulations.  Any contamination of the PFASs is not required to be cleaned up by military personnel, implying there is a lot of spillage at military bases across the country.  It is well known.  The EPA was attempting to do the right thing, and our Department of Defense, staffed by defense contractor cronies, pushed back.  They are saying that in order to protect America, we must kill our own citizens.  Welcome to Trump America.
