God Comes to Washington?

 When you are dealing with music, there is no substitution for aural sound.  America has modified our perception of music, and it has not been a good thing.  News stories are popping up about people wanting to leave America and specific states.  Tim Walz has deployed the National Guard in his state.  In essence Donald Trump has ignited a war which necessarily is between the states and Washington, DC.  If we were to tally how many laws Donald Trump has broken only during his second term, and recognized how many unconstitutional Presidential actions he has attempted, he is akin to a war criminal.  All ready he is a convicted felon.  We have a convicted felon acting as the President of the United States.  If we try to understand the Trump Administration as a whole by their appearances and actions, it would seem we have elected a juvenile lot of kids to govern the United States.  What does this suggest?  Donald Trump is nearly 80 years old, and many Americans who live this long have Alzheimer's Disease, develop dementia, or have chronic health issues that inhibit their thinking.  Those who do live into their nineties often are celebrities or those with the economic means to ensure their continued health as they age.  What should the Trump Administration and cabinet suggest to the people?  Saturday Night Live does a good impersonation, and it's their job.  The late night, live, comedy show is satirical and often parodies politics.  Trump's Administration is ripe for the picking, but so were other presidential administrations.  Media as a whole embraces disfunction, because it is ripe for commercial exploitation.   Comedy in particular needs material.  When your governing body not only is dysfunctional but entertaining, much of the comedians work is done.  That is not true of the governance of a nation.  America never has had this particular experience before.  I am no historian, but the history books never have documented an improvisatory, Vaudeville-type, comedic troupe governing the United States.  Television today is a watered down minstrel show.  Vaudeville is way too skilled to represent this lot of posers.  What should the Trump Administration suggest to the American people?  First these people are not adults.  They are children.  It's like they never have had the familial experiences that promote growth, intelligence, wisdom, and maturity.  These experiences often to not grow in the family unit alone.  They must be augmented by social situations of which the most important is church.  I did not intend to preach today, and I will not go as far as saying that the Trump Administration lacks spiritual capability.  We can and should characterize the Trump family and administration by their actions, because I do believe a man is what he does, not what he says.  Trump says a lot.  He has done a lot.  What do we see his administration do that suggests they are capable of leading the most powerful nation in the world?  The most blaring omission from his faction is empathy.  After decades of study of the Nazi regime, empathy was named as the one thing of which Nazis were not capable.  They could not foster empathy for their fellow man.  This one simple precept is akin to human spirituality, and most human spirituality acknowledges and often worships a higher being.  Different cultures have different deities, but at the end of the day most of these things are metaphors for God.  The sun, the sea, the earth, and fire are all righteous elements without which humans could not survive.  It stands to reason certain cultures may choose to see these as gods.  In God's Ten Commandments specifically state we should not worship a graven image.  Washington's weakness, their plight, and their ensuing and continuing failure is lack of God.  They have not been saved, so their behaviors merely are superficial attempts to gain temporary and immediate gratification.  Without a deeper, far reaching, philosophical, and intellectual perspective, human existence will be nothing other than cavemen trying to survive.  How is it possible that one of Earth's most enlightened societies, the Ancient Greeks, existed before the birth of Jesus?  The answer is that at a certain point Satan was released on Earth to run amuck and tempt man.  What has ensued is the work of the devil, and the only solution to the devil's work is the acceptance of God as our savior.  We need God to save us, and we must ask for his help.  It has been prophesied that God will return to the Earth, and those who have accepted Him will be transported to a new planet including the dead.  The rest will be left to battle each other in hell fire's flames as the Earth is destroyed.  If you don't believe in a Higher Being, then none of this will matter to you.  If you do, like Donald Trump, you will see yourself having fun playing poker with the devil in hell.  Rest assured it will not be like that.  It is punishment, and perhaps the spoiled brats running Washington never have experience the true pain of punishment.  Multiply that pain times eternity and you have grievous consequences for your actions today on Earth.
