Budget or Fudge It?

The new budget for FY26 (fiscal year 2026) through the National Defense Authorization Act is 892.6 billion dollars.  President Trump's proposal for this military budget was 1.01 trillion dollars.  The United States of America is in debt to the tune of 30 trillion dollars.  What is it about that scenario that suggests our current administration has the ability to solve any of America's problems?  Let's reflect for a moment.  Since Donald Trump has been President, other than makes his constituency happy, has he solved any real American problems?  Have any of his prophecies come true?  Has he proven himself in any way capable of leading a nation and providing solidarity to its people?  The answer is no.  The reason why he is President, is because his appearance satisfies what his constituency was looking for.  He is an actor, perhaps an actor better than Ronald Reagan.  He walks the walk and talks the talk, but there is little he has done that has helped America.  Contrarily since 2016 the quality of life of those other than the rich has nosedived.  He singlehandedly has increased the National Debt to an unreasonable and unrecoverable number.  Spending other people's money is what Donald Trump does and file bankruptcy as a tool or financial instrument to disguise his disingenuous business acumen.   He said he was surprised that he won in 2016, because he didn't want to be President.  What we have is a fictional Presidency, a late night television Presidency with no help for America.  Again for the rich this doesn't matter.  They have enough money to get by.  The President's neglect of the real job of the presidency is having dire consequences for the nation.  The concept of his Presidency is the same concept as his business.  He bullshits you for his own gain.  The problem is he has picked up over 50% of the American people, and they have no idea what they have done or who they elected.  It is a huge band of thieves yelling "Make America Great Again" and continuing to do the exact wrong thing.  They are stealing from the people and enjoying it.  In the film "The Pianist," it was unusual for Jews to fight back against the German invasion.  When one understands the direness of the American situation, and that the Supreme Court of the United States is a part of this band of thieves, there may be a point when democracy becomes more important than the wealthy.  All along Donald Trump built his base and rallied members of his cult, but not everyone buys what he is selling.  It doesn't take much to see the disparity in his Administration.  Let's give the military one trillion dollars.  Let's buy them off and make them feel good about themselves so they will do for me when the time comes.  A trillion dollars, and we are not in a war.  But we are.  Still we are in a Cold War, and the guy with the biggest military wins.  Donald Trump doesn't have the intellectual prowess to be President.  Everything he is is words on paper, a show, gaslighting, and lying.  Perhaps the death of someone important to him will spark a feeling of genuineness.  If this Administration does not develop a moral conscious, an ability to tell the truth, and transparency about their goals, we can expect more of the same.  America does not want another Revolution or Civil War, so perhaps political assassinations  will become the norm again.  If someone told the truth and even feigned caring about the American people, perhaps they would be immune.
